SO....Thank you Kristin Hayne for always ENABLING!!! I saw the cake pops post, bought the book and ALL the supplies and went to work! We ( the kids, chads mom, and I) have made at least 4 different batches.... here are some of the results....

So my wonderful mother comes over a couple of times a week after work to help Beau do homework....It helps not because I cant but because if I am home, I can then start dinner, layout clothes for next morning, get every ones bags packed up, start laundry or...you know...just be the mom....and when I'm not there, it helps Donna do all the things I would be doing! lol... So this week my mom could only come once, plus we had a week night jumping party and, I worked a couple of night shifts, so TODAY against his will, Beau did all his weekly homework plus his January family project! (gotta love that once a month we get an EXTRA project, since I believe all homework is a family project)!! This month it was to build a snow man! Beau just loves to be in my craft room so the monthly projects are usually his FAVORITE cause it means he can look for supplies in my craft room......so without further delay......HERE IS FROSTY....

So my boys have pretty much always gotten along great with the Hayne boys....but since we have been up there visiting more and spend so much time at the Hayne House, AND CUZ THE KNOW WERE MOVING...... These boys are now the BEST OF FRIENDS!! Beau looks up to Mason like NO OTHER, and derek and Landon are like 2 peas in a pod! The are all 4, SUPER OUTDOORSY, they all love to be outside, and they almost never have to even be scolded when they are all together!! AND 4 BOYS RUNNING AROUND IS ALOT!! (THEY DO MAKE A TON OF NOISE) BUT ITS ALL IN FUN!!! laughter, gigglying, sneaking around, shooting, running, sledding, they keep each other so happy!

It has been so long since I posted....But.....since things in my life will be changing .....ALOT....VERY SOON.....Posting weekly will be my New Years Resolution!!! I hope by writing my thoughts and posting pics and events of The Martin Family I can keep all of our friends and family updated and in our lives!!! Chad has moved to Colorado.....it is so hard to have him gone but he is so happy there!! By working there he is able to make more money and keep an eye on our NEW HOUSE WHILE IT IS BEING BUILT!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DREAM OF MINE TO HAVE A HOUSE BUILT AND BE THE ONE TO PICK EVERYTHING AND BE THE 1ST TO LIVE THERE!!! I will post picutres as soon as I get them uploaded, they have already poured the foundation and are laying the floors! The kids and I will join Chad sometime in the late part of next year!!

REDDING, CALIFORNIA ARCHERY SHOOT

So Chad and I had the opportunity to go to Redding, CA this past weekend for a 3 day, 3D marked yardage Archery shoot.....WE HAD A BLAST!!! First of all, I LOVE marked yardage!!! Chad thought it would be a lot easier.... but he was WRONG!! There were targets from 4 yrds to 101 yrds and there were steep up hill and down hill shots. This was only my 3rd time actually shooting in a tournament, I am usually the baby sitter, camera man, or score keeper/beer fetcher! I had more fun than I could have imagined! I was scared that since the 1st two shoots I shot in were both 1 day shoots! This was a 2 arrow shoot, with 25 targets each on day 1 and day 2 and 20 targets on day 3, so without counting all my morning or afternoon practice shoots at the buds, thats at least 140 shots!! Im used to 42 @ absolute MAX!!! It worked out fine, I had plenty of time between shots, since there were 1300 shooters!! Yeah thats right THIRTEEN HUNDRED SHOOTERS!!! Tons of pro shooters, and tons of vendors, all with Archery in common! The weather was AWESOME, and since we were lucky enough to go without ANY of the kids, we stayed in a hotel vs. camping on the range......HANDS DOWN I DONT EVER WANT TO MISS THIS SHOOT!!! We met so many nice people and learned so much!! I even pinwheeled the 101 yrd target....once....the 1st shoot i missed, but it was my 1st time learning to stack my pins....the pics of chad and I with Big foot was the 101 yrd shot, and the pic of the arrows is when Chads arrow got robin hooded by a GIRL!!! One of the pics is of there detailed layout, all of there targets were in great shape and they changed them out with new ones a few times each day, so you were always shooting at a great target, and they had a ton of detailed scenes as there targets....check out the heard of elk target formation!! The pic of me with my super cute pink zebra fletched arrows is my 1st and only 22 scoring target! That means I got both of my arrows in the best spot! keep in mind I haven't been shooting very long, and I have had this bow an even shorter amount of time, and with 3 kids, plus chad, t ball, 2 softball teams, and working an average of 55 hrs a week AT MY REAL JOB........I NEVER GET TO PRACTICE!!!! :)

This was the first time I had ever put in for anything....Draw wise....and was one of the few times I've ever gotten to go out on a hunt alone with chad, and with no kids...We had a blast while it lasted, didn't see much other than beautiful country, and the first time we came into town and had cell service, we were called home to our house being FLOODED!!! That was a nitemare!!! But I did have a few good days prior to crisis!!! lol Chad had me hiking my butt off, we did get to see a TON of deer, and over all had a great time out together!!

So for Christmas we bought everyone in our family a "Fun Card" which included the admission to Sea World the rest of this year.....and all of 2010! We went on Sunday to start using the passes right away, plus Chad turned "32"!!! Crazy huh?! We had such a good time that G'ma and I stayed the night in a nearby Hotel and took the 3 kids again....the next day!! We sent Chad home to work....His birthday was over!! lol

Christmas was such a great day!! I am not sure what was so different....I mean the presents were fantastic.....but it wasnt that....everyone seemed to really just have a great day!! The kids were so good, We had Auntie Manda over and her lil family, Papa Bo, G'ma, Nana and us! We opened presents and Chad and Papa made us Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash browns, (the works) while G'ma made us BELGIN WAFFLES!!! (with my new xmas gift the dbl sided belgin waffle maker!!) THEY WERE AWESOME!!! Then it was off to work for Chad and I!

SLACKER!!!! Thats what I am!!!

So this past 3 weeks have been CRAZY!!! I am working 3 to 4 doubles (yes 16 hours!!!) a week, trying to get my last minute Christmas stuff done, bake, wrap, and enjoy my kids so they know what Christmas is all about!! I will say this......I THANKGOD EVERY DAY FOR G'MA!!! WITH OUT HER.......I am afraid my kids would not get the loving, kind, sentiment that they need everyday, and more so around the holidays!! She has been filling in for chad and I while we work, and FRANKLY.....I THINK THE KIDS LOVE HAVING HER MORE!!! I WOULD!! SHE IS WAY MORE FUN THAN US PARENTS!!! THANK YOU G'MA!!!! Evelyn has also been a huge blessing, getting everyone off to school, picking them up, doing her shopping WITH THEM!!! yikes!! THANK YOU AUNITT EVE!!!! Even my mom, deserves a big THANK YOU!! She has been making a great effort and that DOES NOT GO UN NOTICED!!!! I have heard that it takes a Village to raise a family and I have a great VILLAGE!!!

So, Beau got this Quad for his B-day this year... and although I thought he was a little too young.... HE HAD BEEN ASKING FOR 1 FOR 2 YEARS!!! So, Papa, Chads dad.... made his dreams come true!! He loves riding it, he loves when he gets to drive us around, but of course its nothing like when dad lets him go out on his own!! He drives it like he was born to.... and he is actually quite good even by himself, for being 4!!! lol

So chad and I are always so busy during the holidays that we never get to see each other during NOV. and DEC. ..... So this year I decided we needed some alone time before work, kids and Holidays keep us WAY TO BUSY!!! I booked us a cruise....@ a crazy price...like under 250$ for the 2 of us..... TOTAL!!! So, when chad and I were dating, and up until the kids were born...I used to randomly shoot with him...now I say random, cause I wasn't in love nor did I participate in the shoots, I just kinda shot with him around the house.... I have heard all the stories about how his mom used to shoot, his dad and sister too. Once the 2 boys were born though, I had no choice but to stay at camp with them and watch them at the shoots, and I just never found the balance of doing both.....WELL IM READY!! I have been wanting a new bow, and I have been wanting to shoot, my boys both have small small version of a bow, our 2yr old uses a coat hanger and shoots everything in sight! But they both walk and talk and I think its about time I join my husband at the target! So for our 5 yr Wedd. Anniversary ho got me the new PSE Chaos!! and................I LOVE IT!! Even on date night, before we go to dinner, we go out alone with out the kids and shoot! I must say, that I am having a great time with it, and I am hoping to even start hunting (sometimes) with him!

So yesterday on my way home from work I get a video message of Beau jumping off the side of the pool WITH NO FLOATIES!!! I couldn't wait to get there and when I did he was ready to show me he could also go off the diving board and swim over to the side! I was so scared I stayed tight next to him ALL AFTERNOON!!! But never did he need me to help! :( He starts pre school on the 21st of SEP. and when we went to drop off a check and finish up some paper work he said he wanted mr to drop him off and leave like we do at Alyssa's school!! I am so sad he is growing up to be so INDEPENDENT!!!

So this year, being so CRAZY, we decided that since the boys birthdays are so close together, it doesnt make sense for us to have a party, then a few weeks later, have another party, WITH THE SAME PEOPLE!! lol Chad will be out of town on Poops's actual Bday and Alyssa had an All Star tournament the whole weekend of Beaus Bday, so we combined them, It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun! They were swimming, and we got a jumper, and the boys got a ton of stuff.....cause you know my kids NEVER have enough clothes or toys.....lol (laughing so hard i just fell outta my chair!!)

I have been wanting a tattoo for years!!! Never could find what i wanted though! I walked into a tattoo shop...only cause i was meeting some friends there....and i saw it....HAD TO HAVE IT!!! My grandmother and i loved butterflys and i think everything she bought me had one on it....LOL....so it does have meaning to me(which is all that matters)....and i LOVE IT!!! Chad could NOT believe that i went through with it.....I AM A CHICKEN NO MORE!!!!

Its the Holidays and I have been BAKING!! Beau met up with his friend Jake and that was a real treat for him... He is normally just used to playing with poops.....Him and Jake had a great time.... The three boys plus Alyssa also got to ride the Victoria Gardens Train.....they thought that was GREAT also!!

This was last sunday...a fun day out....It was a BEAUTIFUL day...weather was nice, and everybody was in a good mood....which HELPS!!! It was very relaxing and the boys had a BLAST!!

This summer Beau got into little grove where he would tell me "i love u mom......mom....I love u....mom...mom....i love u thissss much mom....." so i would listen and listen and after several times of hearing this I would respond "I love You too Beau"....and maybe I said it with a little kick....cause he would say..." Today my Grandfather flew in, it was sudden and unexpected (there was a death in the family) and he flew in a day early, so I get him all day! IT IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!! I will be going back to work and probably wont get to see him again until november.... My husband even played MOM so I could go to Dinner with my grandfather ALONE!! I AM SOOO HAPPY HE Is HERE!! (even if it is only for a few days!)

OK, so I am going back to work......I have been off for the last 14 months (maternity leave) taking care of our newest little bebe, but he will be 1 next friday so......WE NEED MONEY!!! So back to work I am going.....I will LOVE to get back to the adult conversation every day but will miss my 3 kiddos.......and what is my husband going to do??? I usually work 50-60 hours a week so I wont be doing all 5 of our laundry, or making his BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER!!! PLUS I have MY OWN craft SCRAP room now......So maybe its time for a MAID/NANNY/COOK ...... jk you know we women have it in our BLOOD to be able to do it all!! So thats it.....I can be it ALL!! (anything for the ones we LOVE!)

OK, so we all know I spend way to much time on the computer and not enough in my NEW SCRAPBOOK ROOM! (thanks to my husband for putting it together and to ALL of out future guest who will now have to sleep in the kids rooms!!) While online I found this AMAZING online scrapbooking magazine!!!
